Carl

Carl Burnett
Founder/Director

Carl got bitten by a pickleball a year ago and has not been the same since. An instructor by heart with over 40 years of teaching, he now devotes the majority of his time teaching pickleball, IT, and advocating for the sport of pickleball.

Carl is a USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) Ambassador and a Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) Certified Coach. I am a graduate of Johns Hopkins University with an M.S. in Information and Telecommunication technology.

As a retired U.S. Army Corps of Engineer officer, he is also the Chair of the Past National Presidents Council (PPC) of the U.S. Army Warrant Officers Association (USAWOA). His service as a veteran includes being a lifetime member and officer of the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA), Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), American Veterans (AMVETS), U.S. Army Engineer Society (AES), and the National Association of Minority Veterans (NMVETS).

Sonny

Sonny Tannan
Founder/Director

My coaching experience ranges from coast to coast within the U.S. No matter where I go, I've found that people expect instant results. However, most are unable to identify their abilities, and therefore struggle to improve. My strength and passion is to help you discover your abilities.

Sonny is sponsored pickleball player, Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) Coach and Clinician, USA Pickleball Ambassador, Director of Pickleball YMCA DC and USMC Veteran.
